Climbing one or two glaciated peaks southeast of Glacier Peak, Beginning with a flat four mile hike the approach hike takes you to Boulder Pass that overlookis the Napeequa Valley. Overshadowed by its neighbor, Clark Mountain, Luahna Peak offers a more remote, alpine feel with the same approach, but a more complicated route to its summit.

A challenging scramble of the highest peak in the Dakobed Range other than Glacier Peak. Clark Mountain is 49th on the Bulger 100 list. It can be scrambled from the southeast, avoiding glacier crossings via White River and Boulder Basin. This route is over 22 miles, with 6,200 feet of elevation gain, typically requiring a creek crossing, and possible biting flies at lower elevations.

Explore a gem of nature in a 5.5-mile loop hike with 270 feet of elevation gain through six Puyallup city parks joined in 2016 by a trail constructed by the Washington Trails Association. At the half way point, the route goes by a viewpoint overlooking the city that makes a nice lunch spot.

Moderate ridge rambles from 10-15 miles and 1,200-2,500 feet of elevation of gain. They can be accessed from several points, including Taneum Creek, Forest Road 4510 south of Cle Elum or Forest Road 4517 west of Cle Elum. Summits include Mount Clifty, North Ridge, and Dried Tear.

An exhilarating and very strenuos bikepack from Roslyn to the Mineral Springs Campground. With car shuttle, it's 35 miles one-way with 4,600 feet of elevation gain. The route is on moderately difficult single-track and forest roads.

A short, Class II river in a beautiful alpine setting east of Seattle that can be paddled in a half day. As long as the reservoir is full, this run typically has good flows throughout the summer.

A trail in Silverdale managed by the Great Peninsula Conservancy that is great for an urban walk or trail run up to 7 miles. The trail follows Clear Creek through meadows, wetlands, and forests. Leashed dogs are allowed.

An easy, level, network of trails that allow for multiple trips of varying distances distances over the intersecting seven miles of trails. Located in Silverdale the trails mostly follow Cedar Creek, a salmon habitat, as it flows into Puget Sound's Dyes Inlet.

A moderate trail covering just over 3 miles with 900 feet of elevation gain. Winter recreation opportunities abound on this route south of Mount Hood which features a fire lookout with panoramic views set on Clear Lake Butte.

This unique desert canyon is part of the Wenas Wildlife Area, and it is some of the richest wildlife habitat in the state. A strenuous, 9 mile in-and-out day hike with 2,500 feet of elevation gain.

A challenging scramble in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near Baring that could be be done year 'round, depending on snow conditions. It's 8 miles round trip with, 4,500 feet of elevation gain with rock, snow, and/or brush depending on the route and season.

The Coach House in Olympia is managed by the Washington State Historical Society. It features an open 850 square foot space that is ideal for meetings and small gatherings. There is a room-length counter for setting up a buffet or presentation materials, a limited number of tables and chairs available for use, and it can hold 35-80 people depending on the setup.
