Packrafting
A great float along a Puget lowland river that has not been extensively developed. Most of the rapids are class II except a couple that push class III in higher flows. There are several good boulder gardens that make ideal training areas for catching eddies.

This route running north from Corral Pass through meadows with stunning views is a 7 mile in-and-out moderate hike with 500 ft of elevation gain. Enjoy a 360 degree viewpoint covered in wildflowers in mid-summer.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
An easy hike with 700 feet elevation gain over 5 miles round trip. From the summit of Noble Knob there is a breathtaking panoramic view that includes one of the best views of Mount Rainier. Extend your hike by visiting George, Lost, and/or Greenwater Lakes. This is one of the best late summer hikes, because there are magnificent views, the snow is melted, the weather is warm, and the bugs will be gone.

This forest-covered route running south from the Noble Knob trailhead is an 8 mile round trip moderate hike with 1,300 ft of elevation gain. Enjoy a 360 degree viewpoint covered in wildflowers in mid-summer.

A 111-acre state park with forest and a one-mile trail around Deep Lake near the Green River Gorge. It's a short drive from Enumclaw, Auburn and Federal Way. It's the perfect opportunity to get out and explore and photograph nature.

Glaciers on the slopes of Mount Baker keep this river flowing from late spring to early fall, providing paddling opportunities when other rivers are too low. It can be done as a Class II or Class III run depending on the put in.

An intimate and beautiful northwest river descending from Lyman Pass to the wide valley below. There are class I and class II+ whitewater options, each approximately 8.5 river miles.

Sun Valley is a cross country skiing mecca surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Rocky Mountains. From a comfortable base near Ketchum, you can ski a different groomed trail each day on its 124 miles of groomed trails.

Nordic day skiing options are almost unlimited when based in the Lake Louise and Canmore areas of the Canadian Rockies, and the ski tracks and trails take you to beautiful alpine lakes, stunning mountain scenery, or through peaceful forests, on a variety of trail types.
Scrambling
A winter or spring snow scramble that is 8 miles round trip with 2,900 feet of elevation gain near the Crystal Mountain Ski Area. Consider scrambling Kahuna Peak with Norse Peak or on its own. From the summit of both peaks, enjoy views of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, and Mount Stuart, Slide Mountain, Castle Mountain, and many others.

Walk through the center of Seattle's historic Beacon Hill with stunning overlooks and great views in all directions.
Located near the Redmond tech corridor, this community center offers five rooms for events, meetings, and courses.The center also has a banquet hall.
Stewardship
This ranger station's conference hall is used for our Citizen Science training and education programs. It may also be used as a meeting place for stewardship activities and training.
