Day Hiking & Scrambling
A moderate 9.5 mile trip, mostly on trail, with 3,750 feet of elevation gain. It is a scramble only when there's snow, because the trails leads to very near the summit. It is northwest of Mount Rainier, off the White River, with magnificent views of Mount Rainier and surrounding peaks.

An easy, 8 mile round trip hike with 650 feet of elevation gain. The trail follows the Entiat River through forests up to Myrtle Lake.

A strenuous hike of 11 miles with 2,400 feet of elevation gain along Dingford Creek from the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River to Myrtle Lake.
Snowshoeing
This snowshoe trail runs between the Greenwater trailhead and Naches Pass. It intersects the PCT at the Mike Urich hut and passes along Government Meadow.
Scrambling
Naches, Yakima and Seymour peaks can be scrambled individually, in pairs or lumped together for a longer day.

Backpacking & Day Hiking
The Boulder Pass and Little Giant Pass trails lead to the Naapeequa Valley, one of the most awesome, revered and wildest valleys in the state. The route to the pass is lined with flower-covered meadows, giant old growth trees and views of granite-spired Clark Mountain and the White Mountains.

A nice moderate loop hike with great views! Hike past Reflection Lake with Mount Rainier's reflection in it and take in expansive views from Faraway Rock and follow a sequence of cascades down the Paradise River. It's a 5-mile loop with 1,150 feet of elevation gain.

Cross-country Skiing, Day Hiking & Snowshoeing
A strenuous, 14 mile round trip day hike, cross country ski, or snowshoe trip with 1,500 feet of elevation gain. The trail climbs steadily with views of the Lake Wenatchee, the Chiwaukum Mountains, and Stuart Range at the ridge crest.
Snowshoeing
A strenuous snowshoe trip at Stevens Pass, climbing 2,400 feet to a ridgeline and Peak 5576 (aka Nason Ridge Peak #1). This route is partly road walk, partly steep climb up a wooded ridge. Good opportunities for routefinding.
Scrambling & Snowshoeing
A moderate scramble near Coles Corner with 2,200 feet of elecation gain and 6.3 miles round trip. The route follows a forest service road so it is good for when avalanche danger is high on other routes in this area.
Day Hiking, Urban Walking & Urban Adventure
Enjoy an easy walk that is great for beginners and nature lovers with a lot to see in a short distance on the South Hill of Puyallup. The trail winds through the forest and wetlands and makes a wonderful destination for hot days with its ample shade and fall colors when the seasons change. This trail can be connected with Heritage Recreation Center to the north and South Hill Community Park to the south to add some distance.

NatureBridge Olympic is a conference and retreat center on Lake Crescent near Port Angeles that facilitates school and group environmental science, family and youth programs, professional development retreats, and weddings. It's a great base camp for day hikes, stewardship trip on the coast and course lectures and field trips.

Hike the Stafford Creek Trail to Navaho Pass or scramble Navaho Peak, Little Navaho (aka Freedom Peak), and/or Three Brothers in the Teanaway Area.

A very strenuous, 18-mile round trip day hike with 3,200 feet of elevation gain up the East Fork of the Foss River. The trail follows the East Fork Foss River through second growth forest. Extend your hike by heading right after campgrounds up a steep side stream to Jade Lake and beyond, or consider a scramble like Otter Point.

Two rock spires in British Columbia, Canada that offer several alpine climbing options. Near the Chiliwack River, etwo spires are located between Illusion Peaks and Mount Rexford.
