In his new guidebook, Wild in Seattle: Stories at the Crossroads of People and Nature (Mountaineers Books), David B. Williams finds nature all around us, in the geology, the wildlife, the plants, the Indigenous history, and the built environment. He'll talk with us about the coyotes, crows, seals, otters, owls, and other fellow creatures in our region (and backyards).

David's new book also includes his essays and engaging illustrations by Elizabeth Person, making it a terrific volume to flip through at home or to give as a gift to another urban walker or day hiker.

Copies of the book will be available for sale at the event.
