Warriors and Film in the North Cascades and Beyond

Warriors and Film in the North Cascades and Beyond

A veteran outdoor film event

Join the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), Vet Voice Foundation, and special guests for an evening of short films documenting the adventures of our veterans and returning military in the national parks of Washington State and beyond.

Many people know that our parks help clean our air and supply clean water. But have you considered the power these places have to help us reflect on our lives, heal from trauma, and build camaraderie with each other?

Through a series of films, explore how Washington’s wild places are helping our veterans reconnect with their families and peers, providing alternative therapy and offering opportunities for new adventures.

The evening will also feature speakers who will present the spectacular footage and touching stories of veterans who adventure into the outdoors to heal, bond, and muster the strength to continue their fight to make America great.

The event is part of NPCA’s Find Your Voice initiative, helping to inspire people to speak up for and protect America’s favorite places.

NPCA is pleased to partner with the Vet Voice Foundation, Adventure Film School, the Mountaineers, the Tahoma Audubon Society and the Sierra Club for this special evening.

This event is FREE and open to the public.
