Climbing & Scrambling Graduation Party

Hello Climbers!

Please bring your family and join us on Saturday, Oct 20 at 6pm at the Tacoma Mountaineers Program Center to honor the 2018 graduating Basic and Intermediate Climbing students, and the volunteers who contributed their time and expertise to make graduation possible. Field trip leaders and committee members will be honored with a small gear gift (must be present to win!), climb leaders and mentors will be recognized, and the Basic Instructor of the Year Award (nominated by students) will be presented with a ceremonial engraved ice ax. This is a great time to reconnect with your fellow climbers and friends, tell stories and share pictures of our climbing season, and start planning next year's trips:)

Please come even if you are not graduating this year!

The Basic Climbing Committee will provide spaghetti or lasagna as a main dish. There will be meat and vegetarian sauce available.  Intermediate Committee will provide plates and utensils, The rest is a potluck. If your last name begins with letter A-F, please bring a salad; G-N please bring a side dish; O-Z please bring a dessert or beverages. Alcoholic beverages are BYOB.

Basic Students: Please make sure to submit your graduation application to Carrie Kavanaugh at carrieannberry@gmail.com by Oct 12. If you have one of your graduation requirements scheduled, but not yet completed, please make a note of this on your application.
