TAC MAC Juniors and Seniors will meet throughout the year to discuss trip leadership and work on planning their own trips.

This seminar will take place directly after the virtual meeting with all of MAC. Those who are able are encouraged to come in person, but those who cannot can remain on the virtual call from the previous meeting.

We will probably meet in the backyard.

Session 1: Intro, What is Leadership?, Goal Setting

  • Purpose of seminar
  • NOLS Leadership Model
  • Skills needed to lead your own trips outside of MAC 
  • Goal setting - What type of trip is most important to you? What destination/climb would be a good choice?

Homework for Nov: Research 2-3 trips you are interested in leading.
