Basic Snowshoeing (old) - Field trip - Alpental Backcountry

Hands on practice of snow travel skills and hazard identification during a short snowshoe trek. (NOTE: Field trip location changed to Alpental because of closed roads to Paradise (original field trip location) due to heavy snow.)

There will be 2 locations for rendezvous and choosing carpools.

  • South Hill Puyallup Park and Ride.  Depart at 6:45 AM
  • Preston Park and Ride. Depart at 7:15 AM
