Will meet at The Floatation Device Pub and Grill at 8 AM (14511 Sherman Dr. NW, Gig Harbor, 98332) for a discussion and breakfast (if interested).

One day clinic learning how to control your boat in wind and small waves.  The clinic will usually be held with winds up to 20 mph, and waves 1-3 feet.   Dry suit and helmet required (dynamic conditions).  Recommend neoprene cap and gloves as well.  A directional control clinic is recommended prior to taking this, but is not required.

We'll meet at The Floatation Device Pub and Grill in Purdy (technically Gig Harbor) AT 8 am for breakfast and a discussion off the beach.  Then we'll head over to the launch site and have fun.

We'll cover how to launch with a choppy shore break, paddling upwind, downwind, with the wind at your beam, and quartering seas.  We'll also practice rescues IN REAL CONDITIONS!!
