Meet at 9am at Freshwater Bay State Park boat ramp. Expect to have shore talk at 9:45am. My cell phone number is 360-710-0616.

We plan to launch from FW Bay, and only go part way to Crescent, have lunch, then turn back. This avoids a potential surf landing at Crescent Bay.

Camping available at nearby Crescent Bay area at either Salt Creek State Park or private campground adjacent.

You must have done your two student paddles and at least 8 more trips beyond this. Contact me to discuss if you have a reasonable exception to the above.

Rock Gardening skills, rescues and safety.

Learn directional control strokes, blended strokes and application for the dynamic environment. We will do a little more of this than usual, because of the tides this day.

Learn safety issues associated with playing in among the rocks.

Practice rescues and learn how to modify them and choose among them for the conditions encountered.

Immersion wear required. Also see blue equipment tab for other necessary equipment.

No refunds if you cancel after April 30th.
