  • Most gel coat repairs can be done by anyone with a few basic tools and ingredients. I will walk you through these step-by-step plus supply an accompanying document.
  • While there is limited remedial repairs for plastic boats, there are some ways to fill in gouges.
  • Want to edge and roll your boat with impunity? You may need to install foam knee bracing to have “purchase” with you knee, depending on your- and the boat’s- geometry.
  • We will cover two designs for stowing your spare (and main) paddle on your boat
  • I will show a simple kayak stand design you can build yourself from PVC pipe. These are great for washing your kayak. They also are very ergonomic for working on the kayaks.

I will have a few resource documents on how to accomplish some of this work that I will send out to those on the roster.

A nominal fee is being charged to help The Mountaineers weather this viral storm; if the fee is an issue contact me and I will register you without it.
