One-day leadership seminar for members of The Mountaineers.

One-day leadership seminar for current and prospective leaders of Mountaineers trips and activities. The purpose of the seminar is to teach and refine leadership skills across all activities as we work toward the goal of putting in place consistent, branch-wide leadership standards. The seminar is only open to members of The Mountaineers. This course is required for Tacoma Intermediate Mountaineering students and is recommended by other activities as a general foundation for activity-specific leadership skills. The fee includes a copy of the text, Outdoor Leadership by John Graham. Text will be mailed to registered participants who are expected to read it in advance of the seminar in order to be able to fully participate in the seminar discussions.
