This event will take place virtually on Zoom at 6:30pm on May 4th.  A Zoom link will be sent out to participants at 5pm on May 3rd. 

Join the Tacoma Hiking & Backpacking Committee as we give a brief update on upcoming courses and events before we pass it off to Chef Corso for his fun, unique and interactive backcountry cooking workshop:
Tired on the dry, salty packaged meals?  Don’t want to spend a whole day dehydrating for your backcountry trip?
Come along as Chef Corso of MONTyBOCA shares some fast, easy and tasty recipes using fresh, real ingredients.  
For this session, we will focus on FRESH ULTRA-LIGHT recipes for your spring treks plus basic camping stove equipment knowledge, packing tips and other cooking camp hacks.  This is a cook-along session and recipes will be sent out prior to the date so you can cook along with Chef Corso!
MONTyBOCA(mountainxmouth) is led by Chef Corso, a classically trained chef, training in Napa Valley and Northern Italy.  He enjoys the outdoors much more than a fine dining kitchen and he’s here to put you on the path to great meals anywhere. MONTyBOCA provides recipes, meals plans and cookbooks and is based in Seattle, WA.
