Car Camping

Car Camping

Check out the many car camps we are offering this summer!

How does a car camp work?  We camp overnight in a campground and hike during the day in the surrounding area.  This is a great way to camp comfortably and enjoy the company of fellow Mountaineers.

Check back in the Spring for more great Car Camping Opportunities - some places we like to go include:

Sol Duc Hot Springs

Experience a beautiful lake view, rain forest, spectacular waterfall and soothing hot springs on an enchanted weekend car camp in the scenic northern part of Olympic National Park.

Experience the splendor of the Ozette Triangle as a day hike, camping Saturday night at the spacious Lost Resort at Lake Ozette, where amenities include a store, potable water, a nice restroom and hot showers. Sunday we will hike the nine-mile Ozette Triangle, taking us by Cape Alava, where we visit the Indian Museum, Wedding Rocks, where we see ancient Indian petroglyphs, and Sand Point, where we can see a panoramic coastal view from atop a small hill at the point, as well as a magnificent sandy beach.
