  • 8/21/14 - Cyclist's Guide to the Iron Horse Trail - Thursday, August 21 at 7:00 p.m.  Join us at the Tacoma Program Center for a two hour class to learn about the 110 miles of mountain biking that awaits you on this unique state park ride. This class discusses what it takes to make this historic trail ride on a bicycle. The class covers logistics, equipment, conditioning and the time of year to make the ride. We will also look at the history behind the trail and essential information that is not easily available for potential riders. If you want to ride the full trail this is an essential class to attend. David Kaynor, the instructor has been an avid road and mountain bike cyclist his whole life, clocking in well over ten thousand miles over the last 50 years.
