CHS Tacoma June Hikes - Summit Lake

Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

Meeting location information will be sent to registered participants.

We will meet at the Puyallup/South Hill park N ride, near Hwy 512 and 94th Street East, at 7:00 AM. From Tacoma, drive east on Hwy 512 to 9th Ave./94th Street East exit, at end of off ramp, turn left and cross over Hwy 512. At 3rd stop light turn left, drive about 50 yards to entrance on the left, then drive straight back to meet and park. I will be driving a dark-ish red Toyota Tundra (big truck), crew cab (four doors) with canopy. All drivers must have a Forest Service Pass to park at trailhead. due to rough, un-maintained road, vehicles with high ground clearance recommended.
