Day Hike - Granite Creek Trail

CHS Tacoma July Hike. Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

Meeting location:  Granite Creek Trailhead

Time:  7:30am at the parking lot at trailhead; early time needed since lot often will get filled early on a nice day. 

Carpooling:  Up to the comfort of the participants; use the website to contact other participants. I am OK with riding or driving with those who are COVID vaccinated.  I live in Federal Way and will drive out Hwy 18 to this hike.  Feel free to reach out to me if interested in carpooling.

Hike Details:  This is an out and back hike to the Upper Granite Lake.  Stops along the way as needed and a longer stop at the lake.  If anyone wishes to swim in the lake that is OK with me; I may do so myself.
