Day Hike - Spray Park

Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students. Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

  • Pace: easy but intentional

We will meet at the Mowich Lake trailhead, by the restrooms, at 8:00 AM. Parking lot is limited, but parking alongside road to the trailhead is allowed. A National Park pass is required to be visible on dash of vehicle. (There is no entrance station to Mowich Lake, you can purchase an entrance pass at the kiosk upon entering park near Paul Peak trailhead.) NOTE: last 12 miles of road is dirt, with potholes!

Trip starts out on Wonderland Trail, in forest most of the way. We will stop briefly at Spray Falls, then continue on to Spray Park to hopefully enjoy beautiful views!
