Hike start time: 4pm

Trip will initially open to Tacoma Branch Conditioning Hiking Students.  Trip will open for registration to all Mountaineers, based on availability, 7-10 days prior to date of the hike.

Leader will be car camping at The Dalles Campground on Friday and Saturday night August 5 and 6. Up to five others are welcome to join in the camp, however, the USFS requires an extra vehicle fee per night, if space is available and must be paid in cash at the campground. Leader will take camping requests on a first come, first serve basis. 

This will be a thru hike from Chinook Pass, over Sourdough Gap on the PCT, and down the Crystal Lakes Trail, assuming conditions are snow-free or largely snow-free approaching the gap and descending into MRNP. This trip may be relocated if  snow lingers on the upper reaches of the trail.
