This class is designed for those wanting trail first aid training, but cannot work the WFA or MOFA classes into their schedule or need to begin leading hikes before an opening arises in WFA or MOFA.  It is more limited in scope than WFA or MOFA and is 2 hours of training versus 16 hours covered in WFA.

Class leader Lisa McPeak is both an MD and a hike leader with the Tacoma Hiking and Backpacking Committee.  The fee is $25 for those not enrolled in the Tacoma Mountaineers backpacking course, or those who are not a Mountaineers hike leader or a future hike leader in training. If you are in the Tacoma course, or are a hike leader or prospective hike leader, please email richardahayek@gmail.com for a promo code to waive the fee.
