 y field trip. Location: Little Si.\n\nOn this field trip you will learn me
 thods for managing travel on “3rd class” terrain (a term that is also 
 commonly used to describe 4th class and low fifth class terrain). You will
  learn how to use hand-lines and ropes\, learn how to anchor natural featu
 res\, and learn several useful belay anchors\, and belaying and lowering m
 ethods.\n\nPrior to the field trip read the handout “Managing  3rd class
  terrain" in the manual.
