Learn the basics of clipping bolts and leading bolted routes. This course is for students who already have top-roped climbing experience. We will cover:
Clipping
Route reading
Resting/Clipping stance
Falling
Setting up a top rope anchor
Each student will have the opportunity to do a mock-lead while still protected by top rope, and a real lead if ready.
Clinic will start at 6:30pm at the Tacoma Mountaineers Program Center. We will wrap up by 9pm.
