Tacoma Basic Climbing Course FT 5 - Winter Overnight

At this field trip students and instructors will break into pods of 2 instructors and 6 students. Group information will be given prior to trip.

Test your ability to sleep in the snow: setting up camp, clothing layering system, and boiling snow for water/food

Test: Crevasse Rescue, Carabiner Ice Axe Belay, Self-Arrest. Practice: Snow Camping, Nutrition, Alpine Start, Roped Glacier Travel, Snow Shelters
