Everyone who ventures into the backcountry when there is snow above or around them should know the basics of avalanche awareness. Come out for a FREE evening focused on the basics of understanding why avalanches happen, and how to avoid them. Northwest Avalanche Center will be there to provide valuable updated resources, Avalanche/backcountry equipment on display, upcoming local training opportunities, and bring CA$H to RAFFLE for a chance at gear and a spot in one of our AIARE 1 courses!!
