DESCRIPTION:This multi-media program presents a 36-day trekking excursion 
 that combines the Circuits of Manaslu (8th highest mountain in the world) 
 and Annapurna (10th highest) covering 250 miles and approximately 30\,730f
 t of elevation gain. The itinerary comes in contact with the vibrant cultu
 re of the ancient Gurung people\, having strong ties to Tibet\, now living
  in the Buri Gandaki River valley of Nepal. As well\, the group survives t
 he 'Killer Storm' of the 2014 trekking season (which drops 5 feet of snow 
 on the passes)\, in the aftermath of which they witness scores of trekkers
  forced to abandon plans and evacuate the remote area of Nepal.
