Ptarmigan Traverse Picture Show with Gary Paull and Lowell Skoog
41 ( 50 capacity)

Bio of Gary Paull:
"I have tried doing the Ptarmigan in its entirety 6 times and succeeded on 3 attempts.  I will have slides encompassing all of the fun beginning on my first trip in 1976.

Also, I was very involved - as a private citizen - in the effort to create the Alpine Lakes Wilderness in the early 1970's and also the Washington Wilderness Act in 1984.

Professionally, I worked as a Forest Service wilderness ranger on the Chelan Ranger District from 1977 thru 1987.   I then worked on the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie NF from 1988 thru 2017.  Most of that time was as the Wilderness and Trail Program Coordinator for the Forest.  During that time I worked on many, many trail projects, many bridges, helped create the Northwest Forest Pass program, helped get a variety of partnerships established, notably the WTA Trail Maintenance Program.  Also worked with enviros on creation of Wild Sky and the Alpine Lakes Wilderness expansion."
