PNW Canyoners' Gathering

This is an informal event to bring together PNW Canyoners to build community, practice skills, and brush up for the summer canyon season!

This is a free event and is open to the canyoning community, including those interested in learning about canyoning. Note that this is not a training event, though there will likely be opportunities for informal learning and sharing.

Those wanting to practice skills should plan to bring their own gear, including ropes. Its likely folks will share whatever gear you might not have. I've reserved the climbing facilities at the Program Center from 1-6pm, and we will have access to:
- Outdoor climbing plaza which has bolted anchors for 2 tiers of ledges, plus an option for multipitch simulation with mid-point anchors. Also a boulder field that can support natural anchors, and low-angle bolted slabs
-Indoor rock wall which has a rappel ledge, ground anchors & ceiling anchors for ascending ropes
-Basement educational facilities (mostly useful for rappel ramp)
