Retired Rovers Meeting - August 2

Retired Rovers meet monthly to have lunch, socialize, and discuss and arrange future activities.

Retired Rovers is a collection of Mountaineers members that are 65+ years old that meet monthly to have lunch, socialize, and discuss and arrange future activities. Bring your own sack lunch and join us for a monthly social hour.

Retired Rovers gather for lunch on the second Monday of every month at the  Seattle Program Center from 12:00-2:00 pm in Cascade A.

In addition to our monthly gatherings we also:

  • Lead walks around Green Lake on the last Friday of every other month.
  • Hike the  old-growth forest of Seward Park on the last Friday of every other month.
  • Occasionally have presentations from members or community members that would like to share their experience, knowledge or stories.

Interested in joining the Rovers or leading a hike for the retired rovers? Contact the Retried Rovers chair, Storm Yanicks at syanicks@earthlink.net.
