A casual, bi-annual gathering for current, active hike and backpack leaders to socialize and share experiences, jointly sponsored by Seattle and Foothills Branches. Build a sense of community, leverage breadth and depth of knowledge within our group, share best practices, support new hike leaders.

This hike/backpack leader social and sharing is a new event jointly sponsored by Seattle and Foothills Hiking and Backpack committees to build community and provide support to our leaders. Pizza (including GF options) will be provided! BYOB.
The evening will be roughly organized as follows:
6:30 - 7:15 Pizza & socializing
7:15 - 7:30 Sara Ramsay, Volunteer Development Manager, Mountaineers - Club Updates
7:30 - 8:30 - "Open Space" discussion groups - please think about issues, challenges, concerns, successful strategies, etc. in relation to hike/backpack leading that you would be interested in discussing.
