Introduction to the Natural World is, as suggested by the title, is an introduction for the ecological initiate or people with experience in one area (e.g. birding) who lack depth in their understanding of ecosystem function. The course is designed to enhance our hiking experience by gaining information about and appreciation for the diversity and complexity of our Pacific Northwest ecosystems. We will share pictures and stories of our outdoor experiences and some  graduate. Family members and study group members welcome (encouraged).
