Beaver Believers Screening and Fundraiser
Come celebrate the accomplishments of Beaver Believers throughout the US and learn more about beaver management here in the Pacific Northwest from Beavers Northwest, a small nonprofit advocating for and implementing non-lethal beaver management strategies. We will screen the acclaimed 2018 documentary Beaver Believers, raffle off exciting prizes, and take an optional walk to explore the Magnuson Park wetlands and beaver population.

Raffle tickets will be sold at the event and all proceeds will benefit the continued work of Beavers Northwest. Bring your flashlights and dress for the weather if you'd like to participate in the after screening exploration of Magnuson Park.

The Beaver Believers is a feature documentary that tells the urgent yet whimsical story of an unlikely cadre of activists - a biologist, a hydrologist, a botanist, an ecologist, a psychologist, and a hairdresser - who share a common vision: restoring the North American Beaver, the most industrious, ingenious, bucktoothed little engineer, to the watersheds of the American West.

Pay what you can admission pricing. All proceeds will benefit future beaver management opportunities with the nonprofit Beavers Northwest!
