Adventure Writing Workshop with Charlotte Austin: Secrets of a Travel Writer

SOLD OUT - NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR. Everyone can be a travel writer, but not everyone knows it. With a little practice, your snapshots, postcards, tweets, and scribbled notes can be crafted into a unique story — and in this one-of-a-kind workshop, you'll learn the secrets that travel writers swear by to turn those creative sparks into narrative arcs. THIRD IN A THREE-PART SERIES. Whether or not you came to the first two events, feel free to join us for this one — we promise there will be new lessons, stories, and inspiration.

Join Charlotte to learn tricks of the trade, share secrets of the travel writing industry, and discover helpful hacks to craft your individual story. No experience is necessary; just bring an open mind, a laptop or pen or pencil and notebook, and your creative sense of curiosity. Whether you're brand-new to writing, interested in blogging, or want to pursue publication, you'll leave this workshop one step closer to meeting your goals.

Note: We hosted Charlotte Austin in January and in May for  three-hour adventure writing workshops, and the reaction has been overwhelmingly positive — so we've decided to invite her back for more!

Over the course of this year, Charlotte is leading a three-part series of writing workshops. Each workshop will be a unique three-hour evening event covering a different angle of travel/adventure writing, and they're always open to writers of experience levels. Whether or not you came to the first two events, feel free to join us for this one (the third in the series) — we promise there will be new lessons, stories, and inspiration.

Advance tickets will be available for $12 for Mountaineers members and $15 for non-members (plus a small ticket processing fee). Charlotte's first two workshops sold out so that no tickets were available at the door - buy your advance ticket now so that you are sure to have a spot!  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/adventure-writing-workshop-with-charlotte-austin-secrets-of-a-travel-writer-tickets-37851075586
