Mountaineers can provide snowshoes. If you'd like to borrow snowshoes, please submit your request to the trip leader by Dec 3.

Parking: No parking pass required

Snow/Roads/Weathers: Please make sure to check the road conditions and weather during the days prior to the trip as well as the morning prior. And, make sure to have chains in your vehicle just in case.

  • Snowshoes (can borrow from Mountaineers)
  • Snowshoe poles
  • Boots* (insulated and waterproof)
  • Gaiters
  • Warm clothing and extra synthetic layers
  • Long underwear top and bottom (synthetic)
  • Wool or synthetic socks
  • Liner socks (optional, but recommended)
  • Fleece or wool sweater
  • Waterproof shell (jacket and pants, breathable with hood on jacket)
  • Waterproof gloves*
  • Liner gloves
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Stocking hat (wool or synthetic)
  • Brimmed cap
  • Water bottles (at least 2L)
  • Lunch
  • Day pack (small backpack with hip belt preferred)
  • Van shoes
  • Camera (optional)
