Summer Camp - Wind and Waves Week

Humans and wind powered camp!

This week-long, day camp runs from 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Drop off starts at 8:45am and pick up begins at 3:50pm at our Seattle Program Center (with extended care available, info below). To sign up, register for a free guest membership, add your child to your account, and register them for the week! Or, call our member services team for assistance at 206-521-6001.

Explore the Puget Sound

Become an adventurer like Amelia Earhart! As a pioneer in her field she was the first woman ever to fly across the Atlantic and even attempted to circumnavigate the globe with her team. “Lady Lindy”, as some newspapers dubbed her, is shrouded in mystery since that 1937 flight across the Pacific. Her spirit of adventure fueled these voyages just as yours will bring you here.

Campers will have a chance to try climbing, swimming, kayaking, and sailing. This week will include fun games and activities, an earth stewardship component and outdoor skills development, all led by skilled instructors.

During this week, camp will take a local excursion to sail with Sail Sand Point as well as visit Discovery park for a day of hiking and tide pooling.

We are offering extended care this year. For extended care: drop off anytime between 7:45-8:45 am (except Mondays) and pick up anytime between 4-5:30pm.
