Seattle - Summer Camp - Water Week 2 - The Mountaineers - 2017

Youth Program

Summer Camp - Water Week 2

Go with the flow during Water Week!

Watershed Week

Become an adventurer like Robin Lee Graham!  In the 60s he set out to be the youngest sailor to circumnavigate the globe at 16 years old.   With this sense of adventure in mind let's set sail with the Mountaineers for a week of fun filled experiences during watershed week!

Kids will have a chance to try climbing, swimming,  rafting, and sailing. This week will include fun games and activities, an earth stewardship component, and outdoor skills development, all led by skilled instructors.

During Water Week, the camp will take two field trips; one onsite in Magnuson Park to Sail Sand Point to learn some basic sailing skills on Lake Washington and the other to Index, Washington to go rafting with our favorite guides: the Outdoor Adventure Center!

The camp day runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drop off starts at 8:45 am and pick up begins at 3:50 pm.  We are offering extended care this year.  For extended care: drop off anytime between 7:45 - 8:45 am (except Mondays) and pick up anytime between 4:00- 5:30.
