Summer Camp - Water Week 2

Water Week 2 has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.

WATER WEEK 2 HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS. Instead, Virtual Camp Programs are running through the end of August. 

Get your swimsuits and goggles - this week of camp fills five days with amazing water adventures and is sure to be a splash!

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip, special activity, and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

Water Adventures Week features an awesome field trip to the Outdoor Activities Center in Index to go white water rafting** down the Skykomish. Campers ages 6-8 will go on Wednesday and campers 9+ will go on Thursday.

**Note: this field trip is determined by water levels. Since this camp is later in the summer, the water level will most likely be too low for us to raft down the segment of the river we typically do. If this is the case, we will still go to OAC and will go kayaking and tubing with their instructors - a VERY fun alternative to rafting.**

Campers will also go kayaking on Lake Washington. Can't wait to see you all on the water!

LOGISTICS:

  • Registration opens January 15
  • Drop off: 8:45 - 9:00
  • Pick up: 3:50 - 4:00
  • AM extended care starts at 7:45am (Tuesday-Friday)
  • PM extended care runs until 5:30pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Family Day (optional): Friday 3:00 - 4:00
  • Please note: all outdoor activities are weather and condition dependent
