Seattle - Summer Camp - Survivor Week - The Mountaineers - 2017

Youth Program

Summer Camp - Survivor Week

Work as a team to make it through this week of camp with the Mountaineers!

 Survivor Week

Become an adventurer like John Muir!  He helped establish the first National Parks and was inspired by the wilderness of Yosemite.   Use your survival skills to make it through a week of camp with the Mountaineers!

During Survivor Week kids will have a chance to try climbing, hiking, navigation, and basic wilderness survival skills as well as team building challenges. This week will include fun games and activities, an earth stewardship component and outdoor skills development, all led by skilled instructors.

This week camp will take a field trip to Camp Long in West Seattle.  Campers age nine and under will have a chance to work together as a team to complete a low ropes course while our older camps will test their will at the high ropes challenge course!

The camp day runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drop off starts at 8:45 am and pick up begins at 3:50 pm.  We are offering extended care this year.  For extended care: drop off anytime between 7:45 - 8:45 am (except Mondays) and pick up anytime between 4:00- 5:30.
