Summer Camp - Rockstar Week - Seattle - 2019

Youth Program

Summer Camp - Rockstar Week

A fun-filled camp week featuring lots of climbing and outdoor adventure!

What's a rock's favorite genre of music? ... Rock and Roll!

Become a climbing rockstar at this week of Mountaineers Summer Camp!

Campers ages 6-12 are invited to join The Mountaineers for a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of rock climbing, outdoor skills, crafts, and swimming. Additionally, every week has a field trip, special activity, and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.

During Rockstars week, campers will have the opportunity to try a variety of climbing techniques including bouldering, belaying, and rappelling. The younger campers (ages 6-8) will take a field trip to the outstanding Wallace Falls on Wednesday. This riverside hike through beautiful moss and fern covered forest ends at a picturesque waterfall viewpoint. The older campers (ages 9+) will take a field trip to the outdoor climbing area at Exit 38 on Thursday. It'll be a great way to put together all the climbing skills learned during the week.
