Day Hike - Wallace Falls

Friday day hike to Wallace Falls.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 5.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,300 ft

The Mountaineers Program Center at 9 am. 

Wallace Falls is one of Seattle's most popular hikes for a reason. With a moderate amount of elevation gain and distance to travel, campers should be ready for the challenge and will be rewarded with gorgeous forest, panoramic views, and nine waterfalls!

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

  • Check-in at 9am. Please be on time so we can load the bus as soon as possible and get on our way.
  • Drive to the Wallace Falls trailhead.
  • Hike through beautiful forests, guided by Mountaineers camp staff.
  • Lunch at a waterfall, enjoying the views.
  • Walk back down, learning about leave no trace.
  • Drive back to the Mountaineers in time for check out at 4pm
