WTA Directions: "From Granite Falls drive east on the Mountain Loop Highway about 12 miles past the Verlot Public Service Center to the end of the plowed road. Park in the cleared pullout area on the north side of the highway."
- Return Saturday afternoon/evening
This trail I've been told has some good sledding as well, so maybe bring a sled with you!

Required Equipment

- Boots (insulated and waterproof)
- Warm clothing and extra synthetic layers
- Long underwear top and bottom (synthetic)
- Wool or synthetic socks
- Waterproof shell (jacket and pants, breathable with hood on jacket)
- Waterproof gloves
- Liner gloves
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Warm hat
- Water (at least 2L)
- Lunch
- Day pack (small backpack with hip belt preferred)
- Car shoes
- Camera (optional)
- Sled (optional)
