Seattle Pathfinders Snowshoeing - Kelcema Lake

[BLACK BEAR POD] Phase 2 trip for Pathfinders. Join for a day of snowshoeing!

  • Moderate, Winter Scramble
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 10.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,600 ft

WTA Directions: "From Granite Falls drive east on the Mountain Loop Highway about 12 miles past the Verlot Public Service Center to the end of the plowed road. Park in the cleared pullout area on the north side of the highway."

  • Return Saturday afternoon/evening

This trail I've been told has some good sledding as well, so maybe bring a sled with you!

  • Water (at least 2L)
  • Lunch
  • Day pack (small backpack with hip belt preferred)
