Canceled w/ extension of "Stay Home, Stay Safe" thru May 31. The first snow skills field trip for MAC. Covering glacier travel basics - ice-ax self arrest, crampon use, snow camping, snow anchors, etc. This trip has prerequisites.

This is a prerequisite for Snow 2 and glacier climbs in the summer. The prerequisites for Snow 1 are attendance at the weeknight fundamentals practices where students will be exposed to the skills they will be practicing on Snow 1 in a controlled environment at The Mountaineers.
