Seattle MAC - Rappelling Workshop - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Along with belaying and knot tying, rappelling is one of the fundamental skills of climbing. This skill is a prerequisite for multipitch, glacier, and alpine rock climbing. This workshop has prerequisites, see leader's notes for details. MORNING SESSION: 9am-11:30am

Make sure to arrive early so you can be ready and geared up by 9am for the morning session or 12:30pm for the afternoon session. 

For these workshops, there will be a morning session and an afternoon session to make sure everyone has a chance to come and that there is a good student:instructor ratio. Please pay attention to which session you are signing up for and make sure you arrive early in order to be ready to climb by 9am!

Prerequisites: All skills workshops so far including climbing 101 / lead climbing and anchors/cleaning routes. 

This skills workshop is a prerequisite for multi-pitch skills workshops and climbs, trad climbing, and glacier climbs.
