Seattle MAC - Rappelling Workshop - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

Along with belaying and knot tying, rappelling is one of the fundamental skills of climbing. This skill is a prerequisite for multipitch, glacier, and alpine rock climbing.

Meet at the Mountaineers at 9am-3pm

We will first learn rappelling on the ground and then when everyone can set their rappel up correctly, move to rappelling down from our various climbing structures. 

Rappelling is a prerequisite for multi-pitch, alpine rock, and glacier climbs.
