This is one of MAC's biggest, most fun group trips of the year and it is always a highlight of everyone's winter. We will be able to sleep ~26 students in the hostel. Aside from the main hostel w/ the 2 bunkrooms, there are 4 separate cabin units each with a queen bed - so can sleep up to 4 chaperone couples/individuals. See here for hostel accommodation details.

Some students may end up staying with their parents in separate accommodations. Please inform trip leader of your lodging wishes/plans upon registration.

Parents chaperones / volunteer leaders usually book their own accommodations at other places in town so that the hostel is just for the teens and a couple adult supervisors - however, this isn't required and there is room for adults to bunk in the hostel with the students including in 4 private/separate cabins.

We will have experienced Mountaineers volunteers offering beginner lessons as well as trips for experienced skiers.

Because we are staying in a hostel with a fee rather than camping, MAC members or chaperones staying in the hostel will be required to pay for their share of this cost. If you are a chaperone wishing to join the trip and stay in the hostel, you may register here as a chaperone, thus chipping in on the lodge fee. If you are a chaperone/parent/volunteer joining the trip but not staying in the hostel, reach out to carlm@mountaineers.org to be added to the roster manually.
