Seattle MAC - Intro to Backcountry Skiing - Snoqualmie Summit East

10am @ Summit East main parking. No trip sheet. Look for Carl's white Ford Transit, BNS4246 

Prerequisites: At least 2 years of in-bounds skiing experience and ability to ski black diamond runs (not necessarily in good style) in any conditions. You must be able to get down the hill.

Use the "request leader's permission" to describe your skiing experience and confirm you have acquired touring gear

Students will either need to have their own AT kit or rent one. You can rent touring skis/bindings and boots from:

- ProSki in North Bend or Seattle

- Evo in Seattle.
