Seattle MAC - Conditioning Hike - Cougar Mountain Loop

A conditioning hike to help prepare and train for backpack trips, longer backpack trips, glacier climbs, alpine rock climbs, etc. Interested students are encouraged to plan out the details of the hike and write them up in the trip sheet. Staff/volunteers will not be planning this trip - it's on the students!

The adult volunteer leader on this hike is Peter Clitherow. Meet at the the trailhead at 8:30am. This is a somewhat discrete trailhead (Talus Trailhead), approached through a residential neighborhood on the eastern edge of Cougar Mountain. Note: there is very limited parking, perhaps 5-6 spaces. Plan accordingly!
