Plan on an early AM meeting at The Mountaineers for carpooling

Backcountry skiing or snowboarding is a great way to enjoy the mountains in the wintertime! Skin up a mountain with us, then enjoy some incredible skiing or snowboarding downhill!

This is an advanced trip. Please read the requirements carefully before signing up!

Prerequisites: At least 2 years of in-bounds skiing experience and ability to ski black diamond runs (not necessarily in good style) in any conditions. You must be able to get down the hill.

Prior back country / skinning experience is preferred, but if this will be your first time touring please let the leaders know. If you do not have your own touring setup, you will need to rent one from ProSki or another retailer on your own time, group rentals will not be arranged.

Either way, please let the leaders know what your experience level with skiing and avalanche training is.
