Seattle MAC - Alpine Climb - Eldorado Peak/Inspiration Glacier

An Alpine Climb lead by volunteers and/or staff for MAC! It will either be El Dorado or Sahale depending on permit application results. This trip has prerequisites. See leaders notes for details.

See trip sheet for details when it is released within two weeks of the trip - plan on an very early start Saturday morning (pre-dawn) at The Mountaineers, or a drive out to the trailhead on Friday afternoon/evening. 

Prerequisites: 

For alpine rock climbs:

Skills/workshops: Multi-pitch systems, belay escape, rappelling, lead climbing / lead belaying

Other courses/trips: Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course/badge, Leavenworth Multi-Pitch trip / successful multi-pitch climb, Summer Trip / successful muti-pitch climb there

If glacier climb: In addition to all of the above: Crevasse rescue workshop, glacier climbing fundamentals (at least 2), Snow 1, Snow 2
