Seattle MAC - Snow 1 Field Trip - Alpental Ski Area

We will be covering individual and group ice axe arrests, rope travel, crampon travel, and other snow skills!

We will meet at the Seattle Program Center at 6 am and be at the Alpental/Snow Lake Trailhead by 8.

Participants will practice walking in balance, rope travel, traveling with crampons, self belay and the four positions of self arrest using an ice ax.
