Meet at John Muir at 9:45 AM or at 9:15 AM to carpool from The Mountaineers. We will then walk the kids to Cheasty, introduce them to Environmental Restoration and do some restoration, eat lunch with them, and walk them back! We will finish up at 1 PM and head home.

5th grade students from John Muir Elementary School will join Mountaineers volunteers at a local park to complete a Service Learning Project. These are kids who get very little exposure to the outdoors and are excited to learn new things! We'll need volunteers to engage and motivate the kids in environmental restoration and make sure that they are using the tools safely.
