We will NOT be hiking to Annette Lake. Instead this will be an easier hike that starts at the Annette Lake trail head, follows the Annette Lake trail for 1.2 miles, then we will turn west onto the Iron Horse Trail (newly renamed the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail) and follow that approximately 1.5 miles to the western entrance of the Snoqualmie Tunnel. There we can rest, explore the entrance of the tunnel and then turn around. The hike will be less than 6 miles round trip with minimal elevation gain.
